The SPI board held a face-to-face meeting in New York in February.
A summary of the meeting is now available:
http://www.spi-inc.org/meetings/minutes/2017/2017-02-24-f2f-new-york/
We would like to underscore: member concerns about SPI's reimbursement
time were heavily discussed at the meeting. To improve reimbursement
time for SPI's member projects and ease the volunteer workload of board
members, the board has come to two decision:
1. Board members will implement better reimbursement tracking with
web forms and RT.
2. SPI will hire a 1/4 time contractor to process reimbursements.
The board intends for these chances to go into effect over the next few
months.
