Upcoming SPI board elections for 2021-2024 term

Hi everyone. This a notice about the upcoming SPI board elections as
the terms of two current board members, Michael Schultheiss and
Stephen Frost Andrew Tridgell, are expiring in July 2021. We also have
an open position due to the resignation of Luca Filipozzi earlier in
the year.

The relevant dates are as follows:

* Nomination period starts on Monday 28th June 2021
* Nomination period ends on Sunday 4th July 2021
* Election period (if required) starts on Monday 5th July 2021
* Election period ends on Sunday 11th July
* Results announced at the SPI AGM on Monday the 12th of July 2021

Date ranges start at midnight UTC on the day in question and end at
11:59 UTC.

Potential board members should be able to commit to attending the
monthly board meetings, which are conducted publicly via IRC (#spi on
the OFTC network). These take place at 20:00 UTC on the second Monday
of every month. More details, including all past agendas and minutes,

The ideal candidate will have an existing involvement in the Free and
Open Source community, though this need not be with a project
affiliated with SPI.

nomination period opens. You can also find various board members
