Would it be possible for the FSF India to accept donations in India on
behalf of SPI? Isn't this how it works in countries that are not the US?

Matter has been taken up with the FSF-I. The question is, AFAIK, the
SPI has multiple accounts for each project under it.
How is the FSF-I expected to deal with the Debian specific donations?
