The next board meeting will be 10/18 as usual.

I am also sending my regrets for that meeting.

I also have regrets for this meeting, previously sent but still
applicable, as in my regrets mail to the October 4th meeting (despite
the fact that I ended up attending most of that meeting):

"The regrets I stated in my September 19th mail with Message-ID:
<20050919183612(dot)GH1779(at)mail(dot)kaplowitz(dot)org> still apply to this meeting
as well. I can't make 1900 UTC on any Tuesday in October due to a
university class. In November I will be able to make Tuesdays at 1900
UTC due to the end of Daylight Saving Time, but I will have to leave at
1920 UTC in order to make it to that class on time, so it'll only be a
brief presence. I'm not going to repeat everything I said in that mail,
since it was sent to both of the same lists as this mail; everything
therein still applies."

I do not have enough information to make a September Treasurer's report
yet. The only activity has been three deposits by Branden totaling
$3326.48, for which he has not yet given a breakdown in terms of
earmark, as well as some indeterminate activity over the last few months
in our Financial Advisors account where most of our money is, for which
Branden has not yet faxed me our most recent quarterly statement. (I
need Q2 2005, and I will also want Q3 2005 once you receive that
statement.) With the deposits by Branden, our FirstIB checking account
balance increased from $26,838.53 to $30,165.01 over the course of
September.

I apologize for the failure to produce a report, and admit I should have
nagged Branden more than I did, although I did do some nagging. Branden,
please send the necessary snail-mail report(s) for the donations, and
fax me those statement(s). I will aim to send my September report via
email as soon as feasible, but in any case in time for us to approve it
via email before the November meeting or via normal vote during it.
Likewise, of course, for the October report, which I don't forsee having
to delay beyond the usual schedule, assuming I nag Branden enough
between now and then.
