MEETING REMINDER

The Board of Directors of Software in the Public Interest, Inc., will
hold a public board of directors meeting on
Tuesday, January 16, 2007, 19:00 UTC.

SPI meetings are held on the OFTC IRC network, irc.oftc.net, in #spi.
The agenda for the meeting is open for additions[0]

At time of writing, one motion has been raised, and there is one set
of minutes to approve.

Resolutions:
* Further on Debian trademark in Spain? (Resolution 2006-04-03.jfsp.1)[1]
- An amendment is expected to this resolution, but has not been
received at time of writing

Minutes:
* December 19th, 2006 minutes[2]
- There is also a vote to be held to mark Bdale Garbee and Branden
Robinson as absent with regrets in this set of minutes.

Other agenda items:
* Outstanding items requesting comment from the DPL
* Report on opensource.org discussion
* Change of board meeting times

Will the board consider the member communications request I submitted
on 2006-12-18 that was apparently 1 minute too late for consideration
at the last meeting?

Will the board discuss the request with me? Jimmy Kaplowitz seemed to
suggest on 2006-12-20 that was going to happen, but it hasn't.

Given that it hasn't been dealt with yet, and given that 2006-12-18 is
WAY in advance of any deadlines for the January 2007 meeting, I agree
with MJ that we should address this on Tuesday. Thanks for reminding us,
MJ.

http://www.spi-inc.org/corporate/meetings (i.e. without the . at the
end) works fine.
